Hypothetical Questions.

The quiestion is, is this sound reasoning:

Assume the folloing is true;  all vehicles manufactured since 1970 can run on 10% ethanol blended gasoline and ethanol blended gasoline burns cooler and cleaner than standard gasoline.

Also, assume that North America consumes approximately 20 million barrels of oil to produce fuel (2002 statistic).

It stands to reason that a barrel of gasoline that is 10% ethanol and 90% pure gasoline would use 10% less oil to make, don't you think?

So, then....
