New Toys!

So, in light of needing a chromographic tuner to tune my violin, I have been thinking of the best way to get one. Either go to Amazon and order one, or go to a music store and buy one. It suddenly occurred to me, all a chromographic tuner is, is a microphone hooked up to a processor that reads the tone of the note played.

I have a processor. It even has a microphone hooked up to it. So a quick internet search landed me a downloadable set of tuners designed just for OS X, and for the $15 I was expecting to spend on a small chromographic tuner I get to download a much more accurate stroboscopic tuner that has a simple mac interface. Yay for the internet!
