The setup: We are in the car and an airplane passes overhead on approach to land at McCullum field which is just down the street from where we are. It looks close, but it's not really. Sage is startled, thinking it almost hit our car. So I'm explaining how it looks much higher, and pointed out some trees it went over and stuff, and my final comment to her, which was my slip up, spurred her quick, without missing a beat, come back.
Me: "So, you see honey, it looked close but it was really pretty damn hi." (Immediately saying to myself, shit! I can't believe I just said that.)
Sage (Without the slightest hesitation): "Well, it was pretty damn close!"
