I was sick for several days, and am not stuck perpetually trying to cough the crap out of my lungs. This is a very annoying situation that has lead to an overly pained diaphragm and my sleeping in the guest room in an attempt to spare my wife from being woken up at 6:30 in the morning when I come home. Now, I don't get a full night's sleep next to her normally, but that few hours where our sleep schedules overlap is nice, and I hate missing it. (The bed feels empty without her in it, know what I mean?)
Christmas was great, we had lots of fun and presents and everything, despite my perpetually being sick. One thing good that came from the offending affliction was that I got a chance to start reading again, and I'm overly excited to finally be getting through my book. It's a great story and I can't wait to read the next two in the trilogy.
I did get my camera, a wonderful gift from Arie, as may be obvious from some previous posts/picture updates. I've not been very posty/chatty or anything like that for a long time, so information is kind of sparse I know. Anyway, the camera is amazing. I love it very much and it's more than I ever thought I would be able to get. Arie found it, and it turned out to be the perfect camera for me. (She's good at that kind of thing.) The only thing I have to do now is find people to take photographs of that aren't already sick and tired of having the photo taken. Lol. Arie is a great sport, but she really doesn't like being photographed a lot. Every now and then is okay, but she tires of it quickly.
Anyway, need to get back to work...
